HIV Status!


How much do you know your (sex) partner?
Knowing your (sex) partner should be your utmost priority, especially when it comes to their HIV status.
Okay, let's focus on HIV status. What is your partner's HIV status?
It is essential to know their status, in order not to contract the virus.
Most people that are in intimate relationships don't bother to know their partner's HIV status. And again, they still engage in sexual activities without protection.
There are some that keep more than one partner, and yet, they don't protect themselves when having sex with all their partners.
I heard a story of a newly married man that never knew his wife was HIV positive. He got to know after the wife delivered of their first baby. Though the man and the baby tested negative to HIV, but then, he was seeking for advice because he was bitter and wanted to send the wife packing.

What is your Blood Sugar Level?


Okay, let's face it. Do you really know the sugar level in your blood? It doesn't matter your age, race, religion, tribe, social class, weather condition, etc, as long as you are careless about your health, then you are bound to suffer some health challenges.
Okay, lets get something straight.
For the fact that your blood sugar level is high does not mean you are diabetic or you have diabetes.
But if your blood sugar is high, you are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes and also are at increased risk of developing heart disease.
High blood sugar could also be referred or called 'Pre-diabetes'. Pre-diabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as full-blown diabetes. Those with pre-diabetes are at increased risk of developing 'type 2' diabetes within a decade unless they adopt a healthier lifestyle that includes weight loss and more physical activity.
We are still discussing high blood sugar. And we're are going to look at people that are at risk of  having high blood sugar.
The following categories of people should be screened for high blood sugar;
